NS&I
Green Savings Bonds was a new NS&I initiative that invests savings into green projects around the UK. Sounds great, but NS&I as a “stuck in their ways” government brand, needed a breath of fresh air to get all generations switched onto savings.
We created a multi channelled campaign based on the real lives of families who are already actively trying to be more green. From home grown allotments, lockdown born businesses and family activities, we built the script around their stories. Using real people made the film uniquely authentic and personal, neither of which we could have achieved with a cast of actors – although it may have been less of a risk, in this case the risk paid off. We spent 4 days travelling around the UK, visiting our wonderful families, and shooting their homes with little to no idea of what we could expect. Without our brilliantly flexible and reactive team we wouldn’t have the film we have today.
